Аннотация: The study aid discusses practical issues of assessing the condition of patients and injured in the provision of emergency therapeutic and surgical care at the inpatient stage. The stages of diagnosis and assessment of the severity of the condition of patients and injured described. The most significant classifications of diseases causing emergency conditions of patients arriving in an emergency hospital are presented for all systems of the body. Significant symptoms and pathological manifestations of diseases often found in emergency patients upon admission to the hospital are described. Scales of assessment of the state of severity of patients and injured are given. The study aid was developed in accordance with the current Federal State Educational Standards for Higher Education and professional standards and is aimed at developing relevant universal, general professional and professional competencies. The study aid is intended for teaching highly qualified personnel in residency training in the specialty “Anesthesiology-Reanimatology” and the requirements of working programs of special, variable and theoretical disciplines approved by the decision of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Postgraduate Education, Samara State Medical University, Ministry of Health of Russia. The publication can be useful for emergency doctors, surgeons, therapists, anesthesiologists-resuscitators.
