Electronic document delivery (hereinafter referred to as EDD) makes it possible for remote users to order and receive electronic copies of documents stored in the library collection of NJSC Astana Medical University.
Procedure and conditions for electronic delivery of documents:
- Electronic copies are made in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Copyright and Related Rights” dated June 10, 1996 No. 6-1, no more than 15% of the publication. Copying of publications in full is not carried out.
- To receive the EDD service, you must be a reader of the library of the NJSC “Astana Medical University” and have a valid email address.
- Add exact details of the book or journal article (author’s full name, title, year of publication) to the request at https://elib.amu.kz
- In response to your request, library staff will send a scanned table of contents of the requested publication.
- You need to clarify which chapters or pages you need by filling out the form. (Order form for electronic delivery of documents)
- According to the EDD from the MUA library fund, one reader can order no more than one publication per day.
- Depending on the volume and complexity, the order is completed within 1 to 3 days after receiving the order.
- Only pages or chapters of educational and scientific publications are subject to scanning.
- Electronic copies of documents are sent to the email address you specified.
- Electronic delivery orders from other libraries are not accepted.
- On Saturday, Sunday, as well as on public health days, orders are not processed or sent.
